Love her or hate her, Kim Kardashian always makes a statement and so can YOU! I love getting inspired by what celebrities are wearing and often times I find myself wondering how I can recreate a look I’ve seen on the red carpet without having a celebrity paycheck.

 

 

When I saw this dress at Revolve (my go to site for creating celebrity inspired looks) I immediately thought of Kim Kardashian at the Grammy Awards. While my version isn’t quite as daring as Kim’s, it was daring enough for me and reminded me that some of the most beautiful moments can be captured from the most terrifying moments–like when shooting this photo in front of MASSES of people.

 

 

Part of me wanted to call it a day and just fuggedaboutit, but the other part of me reminded myself that I need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable if I want to make my dreams come true. Even if you kick and scream and throw a mini (or major) tantrum, JUST DO IT. You might be surprised with the end result–I sure was!
