Sparkle isn’t (or rather shouldn’t) be reserved for special occasions. Speaking of special occasions, you may think that I rang in the New Year dressed to the nines at some fancy party, but this year I did something much different, because I knew deep down in my soul that it was time for a CHANGE!

When I heard that one of my dear friends from business school had a yearly tradition of making vision boards on New Year’s Eve, I decided I wanted to be a part of it. At first I was apprehensive to ask if I could join their inner circle (sometimes ASKING is the hardest part!) but luckily they welcomed me with open arms. So, I spent New Year’s Eve in my not-so-fancy sweats with three amazing women who are making sh*t happen in their lives, and it was truly the BEST way I could spend New Year’s Eve.

Lesson Learned: If you want a seat at the table you have to ASK for it. And… you don’t need New Year’s Eve to wear a fancy dress. You can wear one any (or every) day!
