You don’t need a brand new outfit to sparkle on the 4th of July (and it doesn’t need to be the 4th of July for you to sparkle!)

When I saw this dress in my closet I couldn’t help but think of the 4th of July. What is even better is that EVERYTHING I’m wearing was ALREADY in my closet! My cropped jean jacket (everyone needs at least one of these in their wardrobe) is perfect since the temperature tends to drop in the evenings in San Diego, and my nude Jeffrey Campbell wedges go with EVERYTHING! In fact, I wore them so much last summer I had to purchase a second pair. You can easily dress up an outfit like this by wearing a strappy nude sandal but I wanted to keep it more casual (and not get my heels stuck in the grass!)

So, come on let your colors burst, because baby, you’re a firework!
