Get Into YOUR Groove!
This month is full of birthdays including mine (Leo Lovers Unite!) and I would be doing a disservice if I didn’t celebrate the birthday of the one and only Madonna this week.
Madonna is a renowned fashion icon through and through. Who can forget her debut performance of Like A Virgin at the MTV Video Music Awards in a white wedding getup (gotta love that “Boy Toy” belt buckle!), her Marilyn Monroe-inspired Material Girl dress (and jewels!), and her Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra which had people striking a pose for decades to follow? One thing is for sure–Madonna never disappoints, appearance or performance-wise!
While I haven’t even began to scratch the surface on Madonna’s iconic fashion moments, there is already a common denominator. Madonna ALWAYS reinvents herself! She takes risks no matter what her critics may say, and she’s never afraid to try something new and unexpected despite her age. How many of us can say THAT about ourselves?

I look forward to your posts! Madonna is definitely an icon! When I think of the 80s she comes to mind in a second and it is so fun to get a chance to dress up for her. For me, I will reinvent myself but deliberately doing what others are not doing and Madonna is a great example of that!
